The humble Building Location Certificate (BLC) is, in fact, one of the key steps in any building project and is often perceived as being a ‘simple’ survey check; however, there are hidden challenges, especially in post-quake Christchurch. The perfect plan of our boundaries before the quakes was scrunched up leaving a unique challenge for our surveyors.
