Envivo surveyors work on some lovely properties around Auckland. In this example we undertook:
- Topographical Survey
- Removal of Limitations
- Compliance Survey with Height to Boundary certification
A topographical survey is a highly accurate and legal record of a property that includes the boundaries, contours, levels, buildings, structures, trees, services and any other features. Architects, engineers and project managers need this information before they can start to design, build or renovate.
Removal of Limitations is a legal process where a licensed surveyor provides new survey information to Land Information New Zealand (LINZ). Many properties from the older suburbs of Auckland have never been properly surveyed and therefore may have ‘Limited as to Parcels’ on their titles. If you are building, renovating or subdividing it’s highly likely you will need a removal of limitations survey. Read more about Removal of Limitations
Compliance Survey with Height to Boundary certification – at the end of a building project the council will ask for documentation to prove that the building work complies with the original building consent. In many cases this involves a compliance survey checking the Height in Relation to Boundary (HIRB). Only a licensed cadastral surveyor can sign-off these reports to the satisfaction of council.
