Housing New Zealand recently engaged Envivo to assist in the redevelopment of 139 Greys Avenue, central Auckland. Envivo is providing all the civil engineering work for this urban regeneration project. Our civil engineers are working closely with a wider team of engineers and architects to develop the water, stormwater and wastewater services for this innovative new urban village. In addition to this our structural engineering team is providing peer review services to the contract.
Significant site challenges had to be overcome during the civil works design due to the size of the new building’s footprint within the site and its proximity to the boundary where existing services are situated. CCTV investigation was used to assist in the stormwater and wastewater network design.
When completed 139 Greys Avenue will provide 200 new state homes and 76 non state homes in an innovative building and living environment.
