St Marys Bay and Masefield Beach Water Quality Improvement Project

The St Marys Bay and Masefield Beach Water Quality Improvement Project is an Auckland Council project comprising of a new pumping and screening station plus a two kilometre long storage pipeline from Point Erin Park to London/New Street in St Marys Bay.

Auckland Council Healthy Waters appointed Envivo as the independent specialists to complete the monitoring works for the project which includes: Building and Asset Dilapidation and Condition surveys; Ground Surface and Building Deformation Monitoring; Engineering Assessments (SQEP – Suitably Qualified Engineering Professionals); Inclinometer Monitoring; and a Monitoring HUB (GIS Based system to manage all of the monitoring data).

The St Marys Bay project is part of Auckland Council’s and Watercare’s Western Isthmus Water Quality Improvement Programme to clean up the Waitematā Harbour.

Our Structural Engineering and Surveying teams have been working hard on this project over the past few months. The Team is looking forward to getting back out on site once it is safe to work again after New Zealand’s Covid-19 lockdown restrictions are eased.
