Four projects which illustrate the diversity of our expertise include:
- The iconic Whitcoulls Building on Auckland’s Queen street required an upgrade for seismic strengthening. This heritage building had numerous challenges our engineers overcame with success with the use of advanced construction techniques and products, click here to see other seismic projects (and while we’re mentioning the Whitcoulls building you might be interested in Santa’s installation);
- We have undertaken a large number of projects for Progressive Enterprises, with the Stoddard Road Countdown requiring a technically-innovative precise post-tensioned slab and responsive consultancy advice and other Countdown sites include St Johns, Henderson, Mangere East, Cambridge, Lincoln Road, Rolleston, Whitianga and Stratford, read more here
- The Federal Street Upgrade is a shining example of how lighting can enhance an environment. The lighting tower in Federal Street is a small but exquisite example of functional design perfectly meeting the client brief. JAWA also provided the structural and civil engineering design for the Shared Space and forecourt area around the Sky Tower.
- The Westhaven Promenade constructed around the southern and western sides of the marina illustrates JAWA’s ability to engineer an elegant boardwalk structure in collaboration with the architect, client and contractor. We have worked on plenty of other open spaces and streetscapes, click here to read more.For more information click here
