Envivo is proud to have assisted Auckland’s Heart of the City and Auckland Council in the recent Upper Vulcan Lane lighting installation. Vulcan Lane is rich in history and is a busy pedestrian thoroughfare in downtown Auckland.
Envivo provided structural engineering advice for the installation of the catenary cabling system which is being used to support festival lighting and decoration installations. The catenary line runs along the buildings between High Street and O’Connell Street and special consideration had to be given to how the cabling is attached to the older buildings along each side of the lane. It’s exciting to see the changes taking place in Upper Vulcan Lane as part of the regeneration of downtown Auckland.
